About the Terasem Celebration of Life Seder
Celebration of Life Seder
What is a Seder?
A Seder (Hebrew for "order") is a ceremonial meal that occurs in a set order. Each part of the meal helps us to remember an important lesson. It is especially important to share the Seder with children. The Celebration of Life Seder is inspired by an ancient Jewish ceremony, Tu B'Shevat, to commemorate the gifts of trees. The Celebration of Life Seder expands on the Jewish tradition. More diverse aspects of nature are contemplated.
Celebration of Life Seders are celebrated by Terasem on June 10th of each year, following a solar year calendar.
